Oat Slice

Makes 12 slices. Ready in 45 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats

  • ½ cup LSA

  • 2 ripe bananas

  • 1 cup mixed berries

  • ¼ cup coconut oil

  • ¼ cup rice malt syrup

  • ½ cup crushed almonds

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking dish with baking paper.

2. In a bowl mash the banana and berries. Add and combine oats, LSA, crushed almonds and cinnamon.

3. In a microwave safe dish, melt the coconut oil in the microwave for 40 seconds on high.

4. Add melted coconut oil, rice malt syrup and vanilla extract to the bowl and mix well.

5. Spoon the mixture into the baking dish. Bake in the oven for 35 mins, until golden on top. Remove and cool before cutting into slices.


Notes

  • Use any berries you wish, fresh or frozen.

  • Coconut oil can be swapped for olive oil.
